11/22/2022
Save electricity with time sockets from brennenstuhl®.
Used correctly, a timer saves electricity. A digital or mechanical time socket from brennenstuhl® helps to reduce electricity costs. The timer automatically controls electronic devices via the socket. If you want to disconnect devices from the power supply without unplugging them, a timer often helps because it disconnects devices from the power supply by the switching method.
Mechanical, digital or smart timer, which one suits best?
There are different timers. The possible uses for timers are wide-ranging. With IP44 protection, they can also be used outdoors.
Mechanical time socket by brennenstuhl®
A mechanical or analogue timer is the classic time socket. This timer usually has a rotating ring that represents a 24-hour period - which is why it is also called a daytime timer. The time can be programmed in a 15-minute rhythm.
Digital time socket from brennenstuhl®
A digital time socket can be set to the minute. In addition, different times can be stored for different days. It is also used as a weekly time socket. Different programmes can also be set.
Smart timer from brennenstuhl®Connect
Many products from the brennenstuhl®Connect smart home range also have an integrated timer or timer function.
Setting the brennenstuhl® timer - This is how it works!
- With the mechanical timer, the ring should be turned clockwise until the arrow inside the ring points to the current time. To set the desired time, the toggle lever on the setting ring must be pressed down.
- With digital timers, you often find different models, but almost every digital timer has a "PRG button" or, alternatively, a "Set button" with which programming can be carried out very easily. The operating instructions always provide a helpful explanation.
- The smart timer function of brennenstuhl®Connect can be set easily and individually via the brennenstuhl®Connect app.
